Rules
Catherine is very tired of trying to explain everything in the world to her younger brother David, who is autistic. She's even more tired of having to explain David to everyone she meets. When a new family moves in next door, with a girl her age, Catherine thinks she may have found the friend she's been looking for. Davdi's needs dominate family life. Catherine has no interest in going to therapy visits with David until she develops a friendship with a boy in a wheelchair who uses a keyboard to communicate.

When you read this book, put yourself in Catherine's place. Do you have a brother or sister who sometimes says or does something which embarasses you?
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great book for siblings to read because it shows the relationship between the two of them and how what one sibling does affects the other.

Yes I have an older and younger brother that embarass me, then I embarass me back so we get even....hahahaha...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteYes I do have an older brother and he is very embarassing. I try not to go out in public with him. What embarrases me is that he is older (16) and older kids are a lot different...and stranger =[.
ReplyDeleteyes i do have a brother and sister they are both older then me and they are soo mean and embarassing but they still love me but they hurt me at the same time and all my frends laugh when they are over and when he is beating me up it's very mean don't yea think

ReplyDeleteOMG! i dont like siblings they are so annoying but in the end it is funn sometimes! but when i do something to a sibling i get in trouble but if they do something to me they are like nooo i did not do that ! then they dont get in trouble which is so unfair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! uhhhhhhhhh EAK
